Bottom line:
          If you want options…
                     we have flexibility.

Whether you choose to:

  • complete the program as soon as possible or prefer to go at a slower pace,
  • include Saturdays in your schedule or prefer not to,
  • have a master plan or are figuring it out as you go,
                              We have options for you.

Some students start “part-time” and later switch to “full-time” and visa versa. You can begin the Massage Therapy course numerous times throughout the year, although each class is only offered at certain times. You will meet with the Director to establish your unique schedule. Both “full-time” and “part-time” students have the same curriculum and class times but have a different schedule for how often they attend class, as follows:

Regular “full-time” Schedule – 9 month course
(Starting each January and September)
Classes meet Monday through Thursday evenings (5 pm to 9 pm).
During the 4th month, you begin the Student Clinic part of the course. About this same time you stop having class on Mondays and add to the existing schedule your choice of one of the following:

  • Thursday or Friday afternoons (1:30 pm to 5:30 pm) or
  • Saturday mornings (8:30 am to 12:30 pm) or
  • Saturday afternoon (11:30 pm to 3:30 pm)
  • Flexible “part-time” Schedule (Start every two to three months)
The same curriculum and class hours as listed above are modified to essentially two evenings per week including a mix of week nights, with or without Saturdays. With this modified schedule, classes meet about “half as often” and take about “twice as long” to complete, roughly 18 months.
