College of Massage and the Healing Arts Center

These optional classes are in addition to the required 600 hours and are offered at no additional cost. There are several opportunities to add these elective classes along the way.

Community Outreach Experience – This class, up to 100 hours, expands on the initial topics covered in the 600 hours. It includes offering presentations to the public and participation in teacher-supervised Massage Therapy experience off-campus at various settings. This experience is especially helpful for those students who want variety in their private practice.

Advanced Massage Mentoring – This class, up to 100 hours, exceeds the 600 hour course and is tailored to the individual needs of the student. It includes hands-on instruction and practice toward creating your own massage sequence. Class includes teacher supported study groups and one-on-one time regarding your private practice. Group sessions include topics specific to professional steps after graduation.
